Oct 5th
Moving Day . This to be our last day in Canada for a while! Left Shediac by about 9:45AM and just cruised along highway 15, #2 and #1 for a couple of hundred miles to Oak Bay, New Brunswick and checked into Oak Bay RV Park. Tomorrow we will cross the border into Maine at Calais. We notice a lot of the parks shutting down by Oct 10th to 15th, or right after the long Thanksgiving week end coming up. After checking in to this one we called ahead to a Good Sam one just out of Bar Harbor, to spend a couple of nights and they were already closed for the season. Called an other and they are still open, so reserved for a couple of days, as we are told "We just have to go to Bar Harbor" We will now have to start checking farther south to make sure we have places to stop!! Along the way today we did enjoy the fall colors as they are really starting to turn.






Vibrant yellow, reds, oranges and reds. Although in some places they had already fallen off, or changed to a duller shade of the above colors.

This is the best we could do for wildlife today!

Rest Day - Stock up on groceries - Laundry
Also disaster strikes - Electric Coffee Pot craters!!
Oct 3rd
Leisure drive today from Canso Strait to Shediac. Colors are good in Nova Scotia, but we maybe are still a little early, although some leaves are already falling.

Arrived back at ELTORO by 2:00PM. Nice to be "HOME!" Some of our neighbors who are near us have been concerned about our absence and have asked at the office if they knew where we were. Nice to know that people do lookout for others. We hadn't even thought to notify those around us, but certainly had made to office aware of our trip, so no harm was done.

Oct 2nd
Left Newfoundland in the fog. Six hour ferry ride with fog all the way.

Finally arrived in North Sydney, but another ferry was in the dock where w had to land so we were delayed in the bay until they cleared, about 1 hour. Left Sydney immediately after we exited the ferry and drove straight back to Canso to the motel we stayed at on the way up. Just checked in and then went for supper. Denice had her Lobster feed, me ribs.
